Five Suggestions to Get More Leads From Your Insurance Website

September 13th, 2016Posted by Dvora in Insurance Websites, Leads

Getting leads for your insurance business is critical. Building a solid email list organically is one of the best things you can do reinforce your relationship with your clients and prospects. And, one of the best ways to build your email list is through your insurance website.

Why is this email list so important? Because once you have this email list you can send regular updates, informational material and even offers. Remember, it’s important to stay in touch but not bombard this list.

Here are five suggestions to help you increase your ability to capture emails and as a result, increase the number of leads your website generates:

Write a blog. Blogging is a fantastic way to bring people to your website. At the end of each blog post encourage your visitors to sign up for email updates on future posts. If they read all the way to the bottom of the post, there is a good chance that they are interested in what you have to say.

Promote your website on social media. Social media is a great way to drive more traffic to your website, and, then to your sign up form. Sharing blog posts and other updates to your social media pages helps bring more traffic to your site while also growing your email list.

Offer a free giveaway with every signup. This tried and tested strategy doesn’t have to be overly complicated or cost you anything. Offer your visitors an e-book (maybe something from one of your insurance carriers), a how to guide or even an assessment of some kind.

Create landing pages on your website for your email subscribers. A landing page is a dedicated page that visitors arrive at when they click on the link to your signup box. Landing pages are great for increasing conversion rates as they are distraction free and encourage your visitors to take immediate action.

Use pop up subscribe boxes. Do you find pop ups annoying? Most people do too but research shows that they work. Pop ups get attention like nothing else and adding a pop up to your website can greatly increase your email signups for minimal effort. There are plenty of free ones available for you to test, such as https://sumome.com/app/scroll-box.
