Using your insurance agent website as your calling card

Now that you have your own personalized insurance agent website, what do you do with it? It’s not something you can pull out of your briefcase and show off. Or, is it?
Well, maybe you can’t wear your website but you can take it everywhere you go and use it to help meet new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers. As we all know, a sale is very much based on a relationship and keeping a customer is also based on maintaining that relationship. And, your website can become an extension of you. How? Are are a few tips to get you started:
- Mail a postcard to all your current customers announcing your new insurance website. Use this as an opportunity to reconnect with them and discuss some new product you have to offer.
- Refer prospects to the website when you are trying to close a deal. Having a high quality, informative website will go a long way in building trust.
- Share your new email address with everyone. Use this as another opportunity to reconnect with customers and ask for their updated contact information.
- Update your business cards with your website and email address. Hand it out to everyone you meet.
Remember, you can’t be everywhere, but your insurance agent website can extend your reach to meet new customers and re-connect with existing ones.
