What is a domain name?
A domain name is the name of your website. A good domain name will make a positive impression and increase brand recognition.

Does AgentMethods provide domains?
We don’t sell domains, but they can be purchased through a domain provider like GoDaddy or Namecheap.

Can I use my own domain name?
Yes! We can transfer your current domain to AgentMethods.


What is SEO?
SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization. SEO decides how a search engine like Google or Bing ranks your website. The better your SEO the higher your website will rank.

How does AgentMethod Websites help me with SEO?
AgentMethod websites are built from the ground up with SEO in mind. Our sites index well and have all of the technical structure you need to rank and see success. SEO is a complicated topic and every agent’s market and business is unique, but we have learned what it takes to see success with SEO and are here to guide you along the path.

What is email marketing?
Email Marketing is the art of selling through email. Done right, email marketing produces amazing results. (And done wrong, email marketing gets marked as “spam” and makes people cranky - we’ll help make sure you do it right!)

We are integration partners with Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin and can post to your accounts every business day.

Can you help me book appointments?

Yes! Our scheduler platform is built to automate appointment settings. It’s perfect for enrollment periods, AEP and OEP, and following up with new prospects. You can send calendar invites through email or clients can book appointments on your website. And if you sell Medicare products, we can automatically collect an e-signed Scope of Appointment form.

Do you update your email marketing campaigns?

Yes! We have an extensive library full of high-quality content for Medicare, P&C, etc. Also, for the past few months, we have been adding and will continue to add 5 new emails a week!

Can I send an email to a purchased list?

The most important factor in success with email marketing is the list you send to. A good list produces great results. A bad list produces bad results. Insurance sales are based on a trusting relationship. If a prospect receives an email from an agent they don’t know or recognize, there is no trust and almost no chance of a sale. Because of this, we believe email marketing should not be used for cold contacts. The list should be your contacts (clients, prospects, and anybody who has a relationship with you and would recognize your name). Don't include email addresses that you've purchased, scraped, or were given from a friend. The prospect will mark your email as spam.

What happens to my website if I decide to leave AgentsMethods?
The websites are dynamic systems built to run on our custom platform. Any content you upload to your site belongs solely to you and you are free to take it with you. The design, content library, and automated features are owned by AgentMethods. If you decide to leave AgentMethods, we discontinue hosting your domain and help you transition off of our platform.

Does AgentMethods host my website?
Yes, we handle all hosting, backups, and system maintenance.

How do I secure my site with SSL?
We automatically secure every site on our platform with SSL. Once your domain name is pointed to our platform and we start receiving traffic, we will add the required certificates to secure your website.

Does AgentMethods connect to my CRM?
We are currently integrated with Radius, Lead Advantage Pro, and AgencyBloc. We also integrate with Zapier so you can connect any 3rd party to AgentMethods

What is a landing page?
A landing page is a page on your website that is designed to convert visitors to leads.


Do we provide a quote engine?
We provide a library of quote request forms and a simple drag-and-drop quote form builder. We’ve found that for most agents, capturing lead information this way works well. If you want to add live quoting to your site, we recommend using a quote engine that you are familiar with and includes the products and carriers you sell. We can embed most quote engines directly onto your site. Let us know during onboarding or reach out to our support team if you are already live so we can help you get set up.

Is my website fully customizable?
Our websites run on a custom platform we built in-house specifically around the needs of independent insurance agents. They use a highly flexible template-based system that gives you the best of both worlds - the sites are easy to set up and manage, built around your needs, and offer extensive customization to meet your business needs. We follow best practices and have built them into our platform to help make sure your site is successful.

Is your content CMS compliant?
We closely follow CMS’s Medicare marketing guidelines in our sites, email campaigns, and content. We know to always refer to you as a “Medicare specialist” instead of “Medicare expert” and that you shouldn’t have “Medicare” in your name (even though everyone else does). CMS does not certify content as “compliant” but we have launched thousands of sites for Medicare agents without an issue. We encourage you to submit your website to your upline or carrier for review and will help you quickly address any changes they recommend.

Can I add carrier logos to my website?
We will help you add logos to your site and can guide you on best practices to follow carrier branding guidelines. That said, only the carrier can give you permission to use their logo so you will need to contact them for approval.


Once I sign up, how long does it take to get my new insurance website live?
We schedule 14 days for onboarding, though depending on your needs the site can be live much faster. If you need your site live by a specific date, let us know and we’ll work with you.

What is included in onboarding?
We’ve launched thousands of sites for agents like you and have learned a lot about how to make sure you are successful. We’ve baked this experience into an onboarding process that we take all new customers through. This positions you for success and gives you a chance to learn about the full power of your AgentMethods account. Depending on the plan you signed up for, onboarding will take place in 3 or 4 calls. We’ll need your help and feedback but will handle most of the work. At the end of the process, your site will be live and everything will be set up.

Will you build my website for me?
Our goal is to empower you. We encourage you to be hands-on so you can truly be in control of your website. One of the most magical parts of our job is that moment when an agent sees how easy our platform is, pushes us aside, and starts customizing their website. With that said, we love helping too. So we’ll handle as much as you need during onboarding. Our only requirement is that you are involved - you are the secret sauce in your business and your website needs to reflect you.

What should I do before the demo?
Our demos are conducted live via Zoom. You’ll get a link emailed to you when you schedule the demo. If you don’t get it, give us a call at 800-683-0107 and we’ll help you track it down. At the time of the demo, make sure you are in front of your computer, have good internet access, and have something to write notes on.

We do not sell leads.
